Definition of INCANDESCENT

a : white, glowing, or luminous with intense heat
b : strikingly bright, radiant, or clear
c : marked by brilliance especially of expression
d : characterized by glowing zeal : ardent

My blog title is something quite different than my old blog title, I am sure there are some of you who are wondering why I chose this over a number of other things I could have named it. What does it mean to live incandescently? I named it thus thinking of one Bible verse in particular, Matthew 5:16:

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

That is something I am striving to do in my life, and that is what I hope that this blog will reflect. I wish to live my life incandescently for Christ, to bring glory to God. I hope that you strive to do the same!

There are probably some of you who know me from my other blog, which was turned private after almost three years of being an active blog for privacy reasons. Well, I'm back in the blogging world, this time with a new, fresh blog and getting ready to blog again - this time without all the personal information and photos all over!
